The hills of this lovely province are often draped in a bluish haze that gives its landscape a delicately painted look. Famous for its wild mushroom varieties (porcini), white and black truffles (tartufo bianco e nero), and wild boar (cinghiale), the Upper Tiber Valley is still largely populated with tobacco farms. Although, the area is seeing more and more fields converted to produce and cattle farms.
